WDO / Pest Forms
HomeGauge currently does not incorporate pest inspection forms directly in the software. Most states have very specific requirements, and a specific form that must be used in a pest inspection. We plan to add the individual states’ forms in the future, but until we do, we have a solution for most of you.
The following directions will allow you to complete a form in PDF format and attach the PDF to your HomeGauge report. Please note that you must be certified or licensed in most states to do pest inspections.
Step 1) Right click on the form below and select "Save Target As" to download it to your computer.
NPMA-33 - This form is used by over half of the US states. Check with your state to see if this form is acceptable.
Step 2) If you have the full version of Adobe Acrobat, then you can fill out the form and save it. If you have just the Acrobat Reader, it will let you fill in the form but NOT save it. The form must be saved to your hard disk to allow you to attach it to your HomeGauge inspection report. The following software tool is the minimum necessary for you to be able to save the PDF file.
You can download a software tool from a company called “CutePDF” for $30.00, total cost. This tool allows you to fill in the form (or any Adobe Acrobat form) and save it to your disk. Download it at the following link: http://cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/Filler.asp
You can also buy the complete Adobe Acrobat software for $300.00, if you prefer. Use the following link to buy the Adobe software: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobatstd/main.html . With either option, to fill out the form, you just need to click on the areas where input is expected and start typing.
Step 3) After you have filled out and saved the PDF form in a file, you then will need to attach that file to your HomeGauge report by selecting the “Agree/Attach” button on the left hand side of HomeGauge software and attaching the WDO report with the blue plus (+) button.
HomeGauge 3 Software Report Styles
Reports
can be customized by changing the cascading style sheet (CSS) used. Download the
ones below to change the look and feel of your report.
The 4 different formats that you can select when printing change the layout
of the items on the report. Styles are used to change the size of fonts
or the colors of fonts. No matter which report template you are using you can
print them in any of the different formats and apply a different style to that
format for different colors and font sizes.
If you are a HTML/CSS
wizard and have created your own perfect one then send it to us to share
it with everyone.
Directions for installing one of these styles in the HomeGauge
software on your computer: Right click on the links below and
select"Save
Target As" and then save them in your My Documents\homegauge\html folder. The next time you go to the "File
-> Printing Options" menu you should see a new available style.
