ASHI Inspection World 2008 Photos!
HomeGauge was the premium sponsor of ASHI's Inspection World 2008. For those who couldn't make it, here is our collection of photos (and a video) of this year's inspection event in New Orleans!

ASHI’s Awards Luncheon: HomeGauge received special recognition for the previous year’s contributions and the premium sponsorship of the Inspection World 2008 New Orleans show. Russell spoke to the 500 plus attendees and also presented the video below to the audience.

ASHI’s Awards Luncheon: Excellent food was served and key players in the home inspection industry were presented awards for their achievements.

Russell just finished the ASHI software shootout. Notice that he is still standing. As for the other guys, well they were just too high strung.

Russell racing the past president of ASHI (2007) Frank Lesh on a Krawl Gear.

I think the shootout was much easier! Frank left me high and dry.

Here’s Wesley of HG getting smoked on the Krawl Gear by Barbara, co-owner of Krawl Gear. I think she's had some practice -- yea that’s it. Krawl Gear is an excellent product that allows you to move freely and cleanly inside a crawlspace. For more information and how you can be more mobile in a tight crawlspace, please visit the Krawl Gear website www.KrawlGear.com.

Wesley demonstrating the HomeGauge difference.

HomeGauge had four booths and five HG staff members. There was a lot of traffic and great conversations with many current HG users.

ASHI held their show at the Hilton Riverside, where riverboats and New Orleans nostalgia were all around us.

Within walking distance was Jackson Square and Saint Louis Cathedral.

There were some strange characters seen at times, like the guy beside this sweet elderly lady (Wayne of HG).

Zoltar says, "HomeGauge is the smart choice!" Ron Levine of HG says, "Tell me something I don’t know."

The city streets of New Orleans started quietly, but before long the crowds came. In no time there were thousands lining up on the street to see a pre Mardi Gras parade.

The parade was very political from a local level and very adult in nature.

Each wave of the parade was more surprising (shocking) than the last.

Along the way, mini bands played a great diversity of music.

After the parade, the HomeGauge crew headed for the ASHI Presidential Gala.

ASHI rented the entire aquarium for the Gala. There were food stations at every corner with the finest cuisine.

Having the aquarium to ourselves was awesome!

Live music inside and a free open bar was fun, and brought on the singing spirit! Angela (ASHI’s event coordinator) threw a spectacular show. The best food, the best locations and the best in entertainment is all about the ASHI experience.

Russell congratulating ASHI’s president for 2008, Brion Grant. Brion played a major role in putting together this year’s Software Shootout. Look for exciting changes in ASHI over the next year!

We found this Mermaid out of the water. I think she’s a keeper.

Just outside the Aquarium entrance was the party tent with a full stage band, dancing and open bar.
