HomeGauge Internet Tools just got better!
The HomeGauge Internet Tools upload features just got better! The first step in our improvements took place this past Sunday. The visual difference is subtle, but the flexibility is awesome!
Now you can:
- Create as many customers, agents or REPS as you want to get report notifications and time stamps! After you upload a report as you normally would, and create usernames for up to two REPS and one customer, you can now go to the uploaded report and create more REPS and customers. You can create the additional usernames separately in the software or directly on the website. In our upcoming Version 4 release of the software, you’ll be able to create the usernames for as many agents as desired right in the software.
- Every agent, REP, and customer, including 3rd party email notifications, will get a time stamp.
- You will also know when the REPS, customers or 3rd party emails picked up the report, how many times they logged in to see it, AND be notified of whom they forwarded the report to! Now, every time you send a notification to anyone, you’ll know when it was viewed, how many times and when they viewed it — and if it was forwarded to someone, who they forwarded it to and when, and when that person viewed it! This is the new "See All Events" link.
The majority of changes occurred behind the scenes. Over the next couple of months look for improved layout and capabilities, such as being able to decide which party sees what part of the report (i.e. hiding the invoice from the agent, but not the customer, etc.). This will happen when HomeGauge 4.0 is released.

New Custom Contact Page on Platinum!
Now with the Platinum Internet Tools you can create your own custom forms on your website! By including radio buttons, text fields, and drop-down menus, your site visitors can provide you with an unlimited amount of information. Your page appears as a link in the Main Menu of your site with a name you specify. Once a visitor clicks on the link they can fill out the form and you'll receive an email with the information. This can be used to create a custom contact form, an inspection request form, a quote request form, or whatever you like.
With this useful tool you can specify which fields must be filled out, so you can require certain information before the form is submitted. The information that the customer sends comes to you in an email instantaneously with a time stamp. To manage your custom form, just log into your Platinum website and click the "Custom Form" link in your "Site Management" menu.
Please note that this is only available for Platinum 2 users, if you have not upgraded to Platinum 2, please contact HomeGauge and we can help you transfer your old Platinum 1 site to the new and ever-improving Platinum version 2.

HomeGauge Version 4.0 is now being tested internally! Soon to be released to beta testers, 4.0 promises to leap even further ahead of the other software providers by providing more flexibility. Version 4.0 features:
Office features: Send letter templates to any customer or agent. Built-in calendar for scheduling, tasks and setting reminders, such as radon pick up reminders or water test drop off reminders. Track statistics, note lead referrals, mileage tracker, and more!
Auto-fill: Do you want to start off the inspection with a completed report or partially completed report? Now you can save multiple auto-fills for different inspections by types or by styles and materials in different sub-divisions! When you pull up to inspect, simply select that sub-division for automatic fill in of all the styles and materials found in that neighborhood.
Separate upload items: Upload one report that allows you to separate the parts (i.e. invoice, summary, attachments, etc.) to send specific parts of the report to one party while restricting view to other parties.
Auto-comment button for pictures: When labeling a picture, you can add text on the picture from your auto comments.
Faster picture placement: Drag and drop a picture onto an inspection item without having to highlight the item first.
New and improved spell check: Uses a smarter spell check that underlines the words as you type and gives you the ability to disable spell check altogether, if desired. A Spanish spell check option is also available.
Select multiple comments at one time: Using the auto-comment button, click on as many comments as desired and insert as one large comment, or insert as itemized comments, itemizing each comment automatically.
